Dollywood has been open since 1986, delighting visitors with fun rides and entertainment.  Along with amusement park rides for the entire family, Dollywood hosts many dining options bound to please even the pickiest of palates. We’ve been there, tried a few, and now share our pictures and information about dining options with you.

Quick Bites

With so much fun to be had at Dollywood, sometimes you just want a quick bite so that you can get back to riding the coasters and taking in the shows. Dollywood has you covered for those times with their concession stands throughout the park.

At SkyView Snacks, you can buy healthy snacks such as fruit and vegetable cups and snack bars as well as classic snacks and drinks.

Nut lovers will want to head to Showstreet Snacks and get some cinnamon-glazed almonds, pecans, and cashews or salted cashews.

Midway Market and Mr. Jerry’s Sit-N-Sip Refreshments are good spots to grab an ICEE, buttered popcorn, or cotton candy.

If you love funnel cakes, you don’t want to leave Dollywood without having tried one of their incredible creations like the one pictured above from Crossroads Funnel Cakes or at Splinter’s Funnel Cakes.

Other quick bites around the park include Dippin’ Dots, Pork Rinds, and Kettle Korn.

Dollywood’s Very Own Food Truck

Dollywood keeps up with current food trends and even has its very own truck parked in Jukebox Junction. The food truck serves its Famous Fried Chicken Sandwich (think Chick-Fil-A) and crinkle French Fries.

Fast Food

Guests can step back in time at Red’s Drive-In and enjoy a Jukebox Special third-pound bacon cheeseburger or third-pound cheeseburger, served with crispy, golden fries.

Healthy options are available around the park, like these beautiful salads pictured below.

Like hot dogs? Specialty dogs are on the menu at The Dog House. Mondays and Tuesdays The Dog House is closed.

Dogs N Taters serves theme park favorites foot-long corndogs and signature tater twirls as well as one-third-pound hot dogs.

Market Square BIG SKILLETS ® is the spot in Rivertown Junction to get a steak or sausage sandwich or a good cup of coffee.

At Victoria’s Pizza, diners can order cheese or pepperoni pizza, as well as sandwiches and salads. More pizza options are available at Lumber Jack’s Pizza like the Lumber Jack Supreme.

For quick barbecue, head to Miss Lillian’s BBQ Corner where options include BBQ pork sandwich platters, hickory-smoked turkey legs, and side items like fresh-cut roasted potatoes, and Hickory pit beans. Hickory House BBQ is another quick service option for Southern barbecue as well as for chicken tenders and fries.

Full-Service Dining and Buffets

If you prefer to rest a spell and enjoy a sit-down dinner, there are several options around the park.

Aunt Granny’s Restaurant is located in Rivertown Junction and has been named one of the top-10 best theme park restaurants in the country. The all-you-care-to-eat buffet includes Southern main dish favorites such as fried chicken, fish, and baked chicken, and side dishes like mashed potatoes and green beans. Naturally, cornbread and biscuits are served as well.

Miss Lillian’s Smokehouse in Craftsman’s Valley is another buffet featuring fried chicken, smoked roast beef, carved ham, and smoked chicken. Side dishes include mashed potatoes and white pepper gravy, green beans, and brown sugar cinnamon apples.  

Granny Ogle’s Ham ‘n’ Beans is a full-service, sit-down restaurant serving meatloaf, pot roast, and pit ham. Fixin’s (side dishes) include pinto beans, mashed potatoes, turnip greens, and coleslaw. To finish off your Southern meal consider ordering fresh cobbler.

In the park’s newest addition, Wildwood Grove, there is Till & Harvest Food Hall. Diners can enjoy burritos or bowls filled with fire-grilled meats, and fresh vegetables on the open-air patio.

Desserts and Pastries

No proper theme park would be complete without dessert options and Dollywood does not disappoint.

For dessert, diners can enjoy classic treats such as banana pudding and milkshakes, Mountain Camp S’mores, or dig into a supersized apple pie that weighs in at 25 pounds at the Spotlight Bakery.

While you are in the park, you will probably experience the sweet aroma of cinnamon bread wafting through the air. You can purchase fresh-baked loaves at The Grist Mill and take them home with you.

The Spotlight Bakery bakes the crowd-pleasing pie, as well as its signature cinnamon rolls, flaky pastries, cupcakes, turnovers, muffins, cookies, and more.  Their sandwiches are served on homemade bread, baked fresh daily.

If you are craving ice cream, the three locales you will want to search out are the Sweet Shoppe Candy Kitchen, which serves 10 delicious flavors of hand-dipped ice cream, Showstreet Ice Cream, and Blue Ribbon Cones in Country Fair.

Can You Bring Food Into Dollywood?

Visitors often wonder if they’re allowed to bring their own meals.

Generally, Dollywood limits outside food and beverages, although exceptions are commonly made for:

• Baby food and infant formula
• Guests with medical or dietary needs
• Special dietary accommodations

If you’re unsure whether your situation qualifies, contact Guest Services before your visit.

Vegetarian, Vegan, and Special Diet Options

Even if you’re traveling with picky eaters or guests with dietary restrictions, everyone should be able to find something satisfying.

Depending on the restaurant, you’ll often find:

• Vegetarian entrees
• Fresh salads
• Fruit cups
• Gluten-conscious selections
• Lower-carb protein options like grilled chicken or smoked meats

Menus occasionally change, so it’s always worth checking the latest offerings in the Dollywood app before your visit.

Using the Dollywood App for Dining

The free Dollywood mobile app does more than display ride wait times.

You can also use it to:

• Browse restaurant menus
• Find nearby dining locations
• Check restaurant hours
• Locate snack stands
• Navigate the park with GPS

While mobile ordering availability varies by restaurant, the app is still one of the easiest ways to decide where to eat before you reach the next food stop.

Plan Your Meals Before You Go

One of the biggest mistakes first-time visitors make is waiting until they’re hungry to decide where to eat. By lunchtime, many of Dollywood’s most popular restaurants have long lines, especially during weekends, holidays, and festival days.

Before your visit:

• Look over restaurant menus in the Dollywood app.
• Decide on one or two must-try restaurants.
• Eat lunch a little early (around 11:00 a.m.) or later (after 1:30 p.m.) to avoid peak crowds.
• Save snacks like cinnamon bread or ice cream for mid-afternoon when ride lines tend to be longer.
